Judges and the beanstalk is a project set against the backdrop of the post-truth era, exploring the social issue of how truth and logic are often disregarded in online information dissemination, while emotional manipulation dominates public opinion.

The project draws inspiration from media criticism studies in journalism and communication, as well as observations and reflections on human behavior, both as individuals and groups, in the online environment.

審判者與豌豆苗是一個基於後真相時代背景，探討“互聯網信息傳播中真相與邏輯被忽視、情感操縱主導輿論”的社會問題的項目。
項目靈感源自新聞傳播學中的媒介批評課程，以及對當下人類作為個體與群體在互聯網上行為的觀察與思考。

「審判者的豌豆苗」的構成

In the research section of the project, I chose a classic reversal news case as the subject of this study to analyze the stages of reversal news. At the same time, the definition of "Post-truth" was clarified.

In the development section of the project, I selected corresponding objects to serve as metaphorical representations based on the characteristics of the three different stages in the growth of "The Judge's Beanstalk."

在項目的調研部分，我選擇了一個經典的逆轉新聞案例作為本研究的對象，以分析逆轉新聞的各個階段。同時闡明瞭“Post-truth”的定義。

在項目的發展部分，我根據「審判者的豌豆苗」生長的三個不同的階段的特徵，選擇了相應的物品做隱喻的表徵。

Outcome
預期成果

The beanstalk exists as a giant virtual urban sculpture. People will witness the growth and collapse of The beanstalk throughout the day, so as to constantly make people reflect on their attitudes towards truth.

豌豆苗作為一座巨大的虛擬城市雕塑存在。人們將目睹豌豆苗在一天中的生長與崩塌，從而不斷促使人們反思自己對真相的態度。
